Refund Policy

freezedriedbeefheart.com is a website run by Sniff & Shift LLC ("Sniff and Shift", "we", "us" or "our"). Orders started here are completed through Sniff and Shift's Shopify checkout at sniffandshift.com, so the official Sniff and Shift Refund and Return Policy governs every order. This page restates the parts that apply to the Sniff and Shift treats sold through this Site. If anything here differs from the store policy, the store policy controls. The store policy also covers products that are not sold on this Site, including E-Collar Technologies training products and partner brand products sold through Shopify Collective.

Treats cannot be returned

Pet treats, pet food, chews, supplements and other consumable animal products are not eligible for return, including products that are still sealed or unopened. Once a food product has shipped, it cannot be safely put back into stock or resold because of health, safety, quality control and contamination concerns. Every product on freezedriedbeefheart.com, including each Freeze-Dried Beef Heart flavor, is a pet treat, so this rule applies to all of them.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable law.

Damaged, defective or wrong items

Please inspect your order promptly after it arrives. Contact us right away if:

• an item arrives damaged;
• an item appears defective;
• you receive the wrong product;
• an item or component is missing; or
• your order is materially different from what you bought.

Send your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos or video when we ask. We will review it and decide the right fix, which may include a replacement, store credit or a refund. If we determine that we made an error, or that a product may be defective, damaged or otherwise unsuitable, we may ask for photos, packaging details, lot information, or the return of the product for inspection before we issue a refund, replacement or store credit.

Include your order number, the item and the reason. Do not send anything back until we have authorized it. Items returned without approval may be refused, sent back to you, or found ineligible for a refund. If a return is approved, we will tell you where and how to send it, and we may provide a return label.

Exchanges

We do not guarantee direct product for product exchanges. Any replacement for a damaged, defective or wrong item depends on availability.

Refunds

After an authorized return is received and inspected, we will tell you whether the refund is approved, denied, reduced or otherwise adjusted. Approved refunds are generally issued to your original payment method within ten (10) business days. Your bank, card issuer or payment provider may take longer to post it.

Original shipping charges, expedited shipping charges, return shipping, refusal fees and other non-product charges are generally not refundable unless the law requires it or the return resulted from an error by Sniff and Shift.

Other returnable products in the store

For products on sniffandshift.com that are not consumable, Sniff and Shift offers a 30 day return period under the conditions in the store policy (same condition as received, unused, with original tags, parts and packaging, and proof of purchase). Some products are non-returnable, including perishable goods, custom or personalized items, hygiene-sensitive items, hazardous materials, gift cards and final sale items. Mandatory consumer rights

Where applicable law gives you rights that cannot be excluded or limited, including any statutory cooling-off right described in the store policy, those rights are not affected. Statutory cooling-off rights generally do not apply to food products that can deteriorate quickly or to sealed products that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once opened.

Recurring orders

One-time purchase is the default on this Site. If you choose Subscribe and save on a product that offers it, you create a recurring order on sniffandshift.com that renews until you cancel it, and refunds follow this policy and the terms shown at that checkout.
